The injection angle of the main nozzle shall be set based on the shed clarity of the left-side warp yarns.
If the injection timing is set too early, warp yarn catching will occur, leading to more frequent weft stops.
If the injection timing is too late, defects such as weft kinks will form at the fabric selvedge, requiring an increase in injection pressure.If the left-side warp shed opens clearly, the injection angle can be appropriately advanced to save water consumption. The standard injection termination angle is generally 180°±15°.

Impacts of Main Nozzle Pressure on Weaving
Excessively high main nozzle pressure advances the arrival timing of weft yarn, which may blow off the weft tip or cause weft breakage. This results in multiple selvedge defects including weft kinks, loose picks and short picks. In addition, the left fabric selvedge cannot be neatly formed, and the cutting knife fails to trim the weft evenly.
